But my point remains: There was YB and while Quartz doesn't use DPS it uses PDF. Why should Apple have totally discontinued the Win32 branch in the code? Or do you even think they have thrown that away?
Once you have the basics working, the frameworks should run (with some extra work, granted). That's the whole point of frameworks.
Looking at iTunes today, I agree with you, the important part of Carbon seems to be working.
