I agree with this post and thank you for writing it. I am not a developer so I don't fully understand the new API's but I do see from Steve Job's demo of Core Animation how it can save devs a lot of time and I certainly am for the idea of boilerplate stuff being pre-made or very easy to code such as memory management so the developers can focus more on what makes their programs unique. The more Apple enables that the closer I become to being a dev myself and I'm fortunate enough to be able to buy Leopard so I really look forward to this new level of more reliable software.
