I am still skeptical as to if ODF will be a supported UTI allowing average apps to write to odf and be compatible with OO.o and Koffice. Please tell us. I hold my doubt because iWork doesn't advertise the ability to write to odf.

(this part you might remove) I will be happy if text edit does i just feel that it's cheap to allow text edit to write to odf and not Pages just because Pages will be runnable on tiger.
