I'm with Scott here. I find lonely columns of text in a sea of blankness hard to read, especially if they are somewhat narrow and there are other little columns floating nearby. I do run a decently high screen resolution and keep my browser window quite large, because many sites eat as much width as they can.

I agree the browser is a frame, but don't make me adjust my frame to match your text.
