Check out Aptana's Jaxxer. It just reached 1.0. It allows you to use javascript (including your favorite library) as a server side language. I'm really excited to try it out if only I could find a host that supports it. Obviously javascript has it's weaknesses but it would be nice to use the same language on the client and server side.
