Great discussion. And I agree this is camera is a great low-budg solution esp if you're a mac person. However, and this is a slight tangent, I've noticed that when I export my 720p/60 clips into imovie, it has to downgrade the footage to edit it. Kind of defeats the purpose of the 720p/60 footage. Quicktime pro is a decent alternative and enables me to edit without any loss. Plus you can drop multiple clips into a single quicktime project. Still, it's not quite as flexible an interface as imovie. However, unless an imovie genius out there has some insight I'm missing, I'd reccomend QTP for editing.
