Amen to that. I convinced my place of employment to drop their "if it's not IE, it's not for me" diatribe a couple years ago. There is absolutely no reason for any web-based app to require a specific OS.
I thought I had made a point about standards, but just the other day I was informed that we'd settled on WMV as a streaming format. When I pointed out we could use streaming server I was rebuffed: It's too expensive. Although it's free, we employ only two Unix-capable nerds among 200 disposable MSCEs.
