It really amazes me that people are so... passionate about this subject. How much time could you really be spending looking at the dock? I would guess that it has to be measured in seconds. Programs still launch when you click their icons, they still give you a pop-up menu when you right-click them, you can still drag things to and from the dock, etc. These are all the things that fall under the heading of "objective".

I like the the 3D appearance (reflections and all) and I think stacks are cool, too. These things are "subjective".

I guess if so many people are lining up to beat this topic to death, then that means the really important stuff is all working fine, right? ;-)
