I try Acorn occasionally, but find so many basic little things missing it adds up to a complete feeling of frustration. Examples:

- The control panel is way too wide, I wish it could be narrowed.
- No gradient fills in shapes.
- No image scaling by percentage
- No fine-grain control over drop shadows
- Poorly conceived control over some color picking (hue adjustment by ONLY a little hard-to-use spherical dot?)

There are more, but until Acorn matures along these lines, it's no go for me.
