CocoaHeads at Apple on Thursday
If you write Mac software (or want to) and live within driving distance of Apple, you should pay a visit on Thursday evening at 7:30pm. The CocoaHeads group takes over one of the rooms in Building 1 and we do Cocoa stuff.Let me make the point more salient: if you come with a question about Cocoa, people will help you for free.
Apple? Cocoa? Free? The?
In addition, if you have an app, this is your chance to put it in front of other people and get feedback and exposure. The more people that show up, the better the whole system works.
Not to mention that you're obligated to come if you live nearby because you know Cocoa programmers from other states or other countries would give body parts to get Cocoa help at the source.

If only I was farther along in my app so that I had a good question about Cocoa...

But only, what, 20 minutes by plane?
Mayo: Video cast or screencast or whatever you want to call it would be really nice for the people who aren't local
That works if there's a specific presentation, but the format is very... uh... fluid. What you describe could end up being a 90 minute video of people typing and point at each other's screens.

I'm thinking of coming to the meeting, but it would be my frist time. Is there anybody I need to contact? I noticed the mailing list has been pretty quiet recently, do people generally send out an "introduction" when they're gonna come for their first time?
Thanks,
-Kelan

Nope. Just show up. You might want to bring a laptop to play along.
